After Jean Grey and the X-Men defeated scientist Stephen Lang and his robotic Sentinels aboard his space station, the team escaped back to Earth through a lethal solar radiation storm. Dying from radiation poisoning, Jean was saved by the cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force, which created a duplicate body complete with her memories and personality, absorbed a portion of her consciousness, and cast her into suspended animation in a cocoon at the bottom of Jamaica Bay. For months the Phoenix believed itself to be the real Jean Grey — and in that time saved the universe by healing the M’Kraan Crystal. It was only through the mental manipulation of the villainous Mastermind that Phoenix was pushed beyond reason, becoming the all-consuming Dark Phoenix.

XM Studios has rendered this iconic transformation at 1:4 scale with extraordinary sculptural fidelity. The piece was illustrated and conceptualised in collaboration with Studio HIVE, and sculpted by Marthin Agusta — the result is a statue that captures the terrifying grandeur of Dark Phoenix at the height of her power. From the billowing flame wings that arch dramatically overhead to the swirling fire engulfing the base, every surface detail reinforces the sense of cosmic, unbridled energy. The three interchangeable portrait heads allow collectors to display the piece in different emotional states — from composed menace to full cosmic rage — making it an exceptionally versatile centrepiece for any Marvel collection.

As new. Presented in original collector packaging with three interchangeable portrait heads, art print by Carlos Dattoli, and all original accessories. Never been displayed.

RareFind rates this piece as exceptionally rare and highly collectable. A worldwide edition of just 999 units places this well within the upper tier of limited Marvel collectables — and the subject matter carries enormous appeal across multiple collector communities: X-Men and Marvel comics enthusiasts, fine art statue collectors, and fans of the Phoenix Force mythology that has defined Marvel storytelling for decades. XM Studios is widely regarded as producing the finest cold-cast porcelain statues in the collector market, and the inclusion of three interchangeable portrait heads at this scale is a feature that distinguishes this piece from almost any comparable release. Secondary market examples of XM Studios Marvel premiums in this condition are exceptionally scarce, and demand consistently outpaces supply.
