Released in the 1980s as part of Glenfiddich’s celebrated ‘A Celebration of Scotland’s Royal Heritage’ collection, this Bonnie Prince Charlie Highland Crock decanter is a genuinely rare piece of both Scotch whisky and Scottish history. The series was produced in a traditional Highland Crock design — a vessel style as old as Malt Whisky itself — and pays tribute to three of the most iconic figures in Scotland’s royal past. This bottle honours Charles Edward Stuart, better known as Bonnie Prince Charlie, the Jacobite claimant to the British throne and one of the most romantic and enduring figures in Scottish history. The dark green ceramic crock features a bold portrait panel of the Prince, gold lettering, and is sealed with a distinctive red wax stamp bearing the Glenfiddich stag. The original cork stopper and presentation box are included. Distilled and bottled at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Banffshire by William Grant & Sons Ltd, established in 1887.

Why It's a RareFind
The Glenfiddich ‘Celebration of Scotland’s Royal Heritage’ series is one of the most historically rich and collectible ceramic decanter releases the distillery has ever produced. The series comprises just three figures — Bonnie Prince Charlie, Robert the Bruce, and Mary Queen of Scots — making each individual piece a significant find. The Highland Crock form is one of the oldest and most traditional vessels in Scotch whisky history, and Glenfiddich’s version — with its hand-finished ceramic, red wax seal, and portrait panel — is a particularly handsome example. Bonnie Prince Charlie remains one of the most iconic and romanticised figures in Scottish history, ensuring this bottle holds deep cultural resonance far beyond the whisky world. Complete with its original stopper and box, this is a wonderful collector’s piece for whisky enthusiasts, Scottish history aficionados, and ceramic decanter collectors alike. Long discontinued and increasingly rare — a genuine RareFind.
