Membership and Verification

Product Information, Pricing, and Availability

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions and images, but errors may occur. Products may vary slightly from images. Inclusion on the site does not guarantee availability. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing, limit sales by person or region, and refuse orders at our discretion.

Payment

Payments are securely processed via PayFast or other approved providers. We do not store payment card details. Orders are processed once full payment is received and verified.

Evaluation and Authentication Services

We provide professional evaluations and authentications. These are expert opinions only and do not guarantee future value or appreciation.

Transactions and Consignments

Transactions must comply with verification rules. Sellers must provide accurate information. Rare Find SA may act as intermediary but is not liable for misrepresentation by third parties.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs and timelines will be communicated at checkout. We use trusted logistics partners. Risk passes to the buyer once an item leaves our custody. We are not liable for courier delays caused by strikes, protests, customs, or other external disruptions.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the exclusive nature of our products, all sales are final except in cases of misrepresentation or authentication error. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008. Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

User Submissions and Feedback

By submitting feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant Rare Find SA the right to use them without obligation or compensation.

Intellectual Property

All content (text, images, logos, graphics, design) belongs to Rare Find SA or licensors. You may not reproduce or use without prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rare Find SA and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the website or products.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rare Find SA, its directors, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from misuse of the website or breach of these Terms.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or internet failures.

Termination

These Terms and Conditions, along with any referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rare Find SA, superseding prior agreements.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to South African courts.
