The second release in The Macallan’s Harmony Collection, Intense Arabica draws its inspiration from the complex, high-acidity character of Ethiopian Arabica coffee beans — widely regarded as the world’s finest. Crafted by Whisky Maker Steven Bremner in collaboration with expert coffee masters, this limited single malt is matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks to produce a richly layered expression of espresso, dark chocolate, and forest fruit. No infusions or flavourings are used — the coffee character emerges entirely through careful cask selection and whisky-making craft. The packaging box is made from repurposed coffee bean husks, continuing The Macallan’s commitment to sustainable innovation.
